Post-surgical or post-operative care is the care you receive after a surgical operation. The level of assistance may vary depending on the type or severity of the surgical condition as well as your health history. In collaboration with other healthcare staff and your physician, our nurses help you manage pain, treat wounds, remind medication intake as prescribed, watch out for potential complications, and keep follow-up medical appointments.
In most cases after a surgical operation, you may not be able to care for yourself. You will surely need a caregiver to help you tend your wounds, prepare meals, keep you clean, and assist you while getting around the house.
